emma's 18th birthday prezzies

ok it was emma's 18th last week and this is what she wanted. as you can see this was a pretty strangeg present to give her but it's something she loves and will be with her forever she finally got them done today (very brave girl having both arms done at the same time) but the sayings are very fitting for her as a person.

sorry it's been so long

sorry it's been so long since I've been on here but I thought it was about time I updated it with some new cards.

I recieved an order from artymiss the other day and have been playing with my new stash. have to say though I was overly impressed with the bumper boxes I got 2 of the card making bounty and a dcwv the card making one were the same nothing different in the at all and it wasn't up to the standard I've had before I would say there wasn't £25 worth of stuff in the boxes so it will be a while before I get any of them again and the dcwv bag I got 6 items all for the sale page and that was it.

I loved the LLB papers I got though thought I would get some to have a play with.

I've had loads going on at home over the past few months with beth now in the middle of her exams , emma's 18th, Jay going over to visit cherry, and loads of other bits.

This is my first ATC of the year. I thought after so many people had had areally bad year in 2008 it was time to say goodbye to it and welcome this year

















This set of cards I've entered into the trimcraft challenge. Because I've not been well over the past week with my reaction to ferrero rochers I made these in one night

this one is very plain and simple using peeloff stickers and sakura metallic pens

This one is again very simple just using peeloffs and sakura jellyroll pens the christmas green and red.

(Beth doesn't actually like this card at all is has nothing to do with the card it's actually the picture if you look it's the angel of death) I hadn't noticed this when I was making it.

Again another very simple one using peeloffs and sakura stardust when that had dried I used the jellyroll over the top to give a really beautiful effect.

This is my fire and Ice cross stitch which has taken me about four months to complete. Beth so kindly held it up for me to take the picture, I was glad to get it finished as working on the black was really becoming hard work. I'm really pleased with the results though.

Happy New year 2009

I just want to take this time to wish everyone a very Happy New Year for 2009 lets hope it's a much better one than this year, I think it's been one of them years where if something can go wrong then it has, the only good thing was Jay getting engaged to Cherry. but like I've said to loads of people I have a feeling something good is going to happen next year :)

Anyway this is just a simple card I done this morning when I had a few minutes peace :D

craft central

Lee took me and beth over to craft central this morning and we got loads of bargains :) i've now got a big bite to go with my crop o dile but can't have either till christmas, beth got loads of scrapbooking papers so she's happy :)

Well tomorrow is the anniversary of losing my mum. this is the card i have made to put up with her I can't believe that four years have gone already, and i still miss her very much. we all do. so christmas is a pretty sad time for us.

I'm hoping the new year brings a better one than this year has been, it's not been all bad for us jay got engaged, we have got a few plans going round our heads at the min on where we want life to take us but i wont post about that bit yet but will do as soon as something comes of it.

we're all sorted for christmas now just got to get the fresh things in :) and think of something else to go with my dads present.

I'm trying to get my fire and ice cross stitch finish now his almost there i've got about a quarter of it left to go be glad to get it finished now though it's taken such a long time to complete but it is a big one. just thinking of my next one to do will get the poppy one done that one of the kind ladies from trimcraft sent me for my birthday :)

my birthday present finally arrived

Well My birthday present finally arrived yesterday from lee and the kids we've been waiting over a week for it to come. Anyway I had to put some pictures on here of what they got me because it's like OMG. I got two card making bounty boxes and when I took everything out do you think I could get it all back in the box? could I heck lol. But this huge stash will give me hours of fun :) Now their asking what I want for christmas lol i said the same again please :) but I'm so happy with this lot
